Structural work for wider openings
Every wide opening sits on structure. We install the beams, posts and footings that let a wall come out, and the foundation work that additions and big glass need.
Headers and beams
Removing studs from a bearing wall means the load above needs a new path. A header or beam, sized by an engineer, carries it to posts at each end. We shore the structure, install the beam and set the posts on footings sized for the new load.
Foundations and footings
New posts, additions and decks need footings. Older houses sometimes need foundation work before a wall can open. We follow the engineer's design and schedule the inspection before anything is covered.
Wall removal
Opening a kitchen to the living room or the living room to the yard often starts with structural work. We price it as its own part of the quote so you can see what the change costs.
